Precision Recovery with Dual-Parachutes
The ULA Vulcan features a uniquely engineered two-parachute recovery system that ensures both safety and spectacle. A 24-inch parachute gently lowers the main body of the rocket, while a separate 9-inch chute independently recovers the detachable nose cone. This staged descent not only adds realism to every launch but also improves landing stability and minimizes damage on touchdown.
Designed to mirror real-world recovery systems, this dual deployment enhances performance and recovery success-especially in wide, open launch fields.
