The TrickFlex 12V to 3V Regulator lets you get maximum punch from MyTrickRC's exciting TrickFlex LEDs with maximum versatility. Since TrickFlex LEDs can only handle 3V max, often it is necessary to have a Regulator to power them safely and properly from higher voltage sources. The TrickFlex 12V to 3V Regulator is awesome because it lets you power your TrickFlex LEDs from many common power sources such as your Receiver, a 9V Battery, a 9VDC power supply, or any other higher voltage source up to 12VDC. The highly efficient electronics on the TrickFlex 12V to 3V Regulator mean nearly all the power from a source gets delivered to the TrickFlex LEDs. This TrickFlex 12V to 3V Regulator really opens the door to getting creative with MyTrickRC's TrickFlex LEDs, allowing an easy way for you to make super radical lighting projects.

NOTES:
1. Never plug your TrickFlex LEDs directly into 5V (High Power Black Port on HB-2 or DG-1 Dragon Controller), they will get very hot and quickly burn out. The only way safely to get Max Brightness is to use either a TrickFlex 5V to 3V Regulator or a TrickFlex 12V to 3V Regulator.
2. If you want Standard Brightness from your TrickFlex LEDs then plug them into 2.8V (Low Power White Port on any MyTrickRC Lighting Controller). Standard Brightness is ideal for taking pictures of your vehicle, accent lighting, brake lights, turn signals, etc.
