Scout 500mm Brushless RFRT (Ready for Rage Tx) Airplane

The Rage RC Scout 500mm BL is a fun sport airplane that provides the power and capability that experienced pilots will enjoy and the stability that novice pilots need to extend their flying skills. The Scout is manufactured from EPP foam that provides class leading durability and features a carbon reinforced wing that provides extra strength for aggressive sport maneuvers. A detachable prop system assists in limiting broken props and bent motor shafts. The Scout also includes two sets of landing gear - one with standard size tires and the
other with tundra tires. Both plug-in landing gear sets can be swapped easily without screws. Plus, a steerable tail wheel adds functionality to ground control. Like most Rage RC airplanes, the Scout includes the PASS (Pilot Assist Stability Software) system which allows the performance envelope of the airplane to expand with your flying skills and makes flying a more enjoyable experience. In Full or Partial Assist Mode with PASS, if you ever lose control, simply release the control sticks and the Scout will quickly return to level flight. Even when in Expert Mode, if you get into trouble, all you need to do is move the PASS switch to Full or Partial Assist for the system to take over and you're back in level, stable flight. When you want to add extra fun to your flights, the Stunt button on the transmitter can be used to automatically complete either a loop or roll that will make you look like an ace pilot.

Almost everything needed to fly is included in the box including; a pre-installed Airborne Control System (receiver, separate 15A ESC, 2 integrated servos, and a 4.3g aileron servo), a convenient USB charger, and a powerful 7.4V 400mAh LiPo battery for extended flight times of up to 15 minutes.

Important Note: This RFRT (Ready-for-Rage-Transmitter) version of the Scout requires a Rage Brand 4-Ch Transmitter with PASS Switch & Stunt Button and AA batteries for completion.

Note: For pilots who want even more power and thrust, a 3S 11.1V 400mAh battery is available as an upgrade. (Part # RGRA1632)
