Rolife highlights great innovations in ocean travel with the 1912 Eternal Atlantic Voyage. Combining luxury with its immense size, designers were able to showcase the creativity and ambition of naval engineers during an era of rapid industrial advancements, including automobiles, airplanes, radio communication, and electricity. These massive ships stood out for their “extras”, like the level of first-class suite luxury as well as the technology, adapting watertight compartments, remotely operated doors, electricity, and Marconi wireless telegraphy. It says much about human ambition and capability during that time. And though man can never compete with the ocean's power, we can surely create machines that exist harmoniously with it.
