Numbered 61/125 in the 2026 Matchbox mainline, this 1:64 scale die-cast model features a black side stripe with Mustang emblem, dark interior, classic fastback roofline, round headlights, black grille and period-inspired wheels.
The MB1596 casting first appeared in 2025 and captures the long hood, short rear deck and sloping fastback profile associated with the 1968 Mustang.
