About This Item
The Hot Wheels Surfin' School Bus 24/250 HKJ32 is a 2023 Surf's Up release featuring the long-running Hot Wheels fantasy bus casting in a beach-inspired yellow and brown color scheme. This version is number 1 of 5 in the Surf's Up mini collection and combines the exaggerated proportions of the Surfin' School Bus with a tropical-themed presentation.
The model features a yellow upper body, brown lower body, brown-tinted windows, black wheels, chrome-style trim, and tropical beach graphics along the sides. The side design includes Gold Coast Australia and Palm Beach references along with Hot Wheels branding, reinforcing the surf and beach theme used throughout the 2023 Surf's Up collection.
The Surfin' School Bus casting first debuted in 2001 and is a Hot Wheels original bus design with styling influences associated with classic American school buses. The version shown here uses the updated tooling introduced for the casting before this 2023 release.
