About This Item
2024 Hot Wheels Mazda RX-3 HRY71-N9C0H is a Tooned interpretation of Mazda’s classic rotary-powered RX-3 and appears as collector number 156/250 in the Hot Wheels mainline. This release is part of the HW J-Imports series as number 7/10 and marked the debut of this exaggerated-proportion Mazda RX-3 casting for 2024.
The orange body features racing-inspired brown and black graphics, number 123 side markings, Mazda-themed detailing, and graphics influenced by Mad Mike Whiddett’s modified RX-3. The compact Tooned body is paired with widened fenders, a prominent rear spoiler, black MicroOH5 wheels, light smoke-tinted windows, and a black interior with visible roll-cage detailing. The exaggerated proportions give the casting a distinctive appearance while retaining recognizable Mazda RX-3 design cues.

Why Collect This Model
The Mazda RX-3 combines several popular Hot Wheels collecting themes: Japanese performance cars, Mazda rotary history, HW J-Imports, and the exaggerated Tooned design style. As the first-year 2024 release of this particular Mazda RX-3 casting, the orange HRY71 version also represents the introduction of the model to the Hot Wheels mainline and fits naturally alongside Mazda, JDM, rotary-powered, and Tooned collections.
