Excellent handling in all conditions- whether loose asphalt or high grip carpet thanks to its slight weight increase, long wheelbase and stiffer feel over the carbon chassis. This chassis greatly reduces the center of gravity for reduced chassis roll for greater corner speeds and an improved 'balanced feel' at any track versus a carbon chassis.
Designed for use as inline or transverse shorty battery placements. Inline carbon fiber battery guides are included (must also use the #2251 CW Strap) but #2312 Battery Tray is required for transverse battery mounting.
Alloy chassis weighs 75gr. Stock R5 carbon chassis is 49gr.
Chassis is 2.5mm thick in the main sections and 2mm thick in the center cut section.
