One of the timeless ready-to-fly rockets from Estes, the Athena model rocket kit is one of the coolest model rockets. It comes fully assembled which means you get to the flying field quick. So grab a friend and get ready to have some fun!

From the tip of its stretched nose, to its rear engine-retainer hook, the 16-inch Estes XTREME is a marked model that even novice rocketeers can build quickly and easily. Designed around an Estes BT-20 body tube, with surface mounted, laser-cut card-stock fins, and an old-school engine-mount block; this traditionally configured three-fin model rocket achieves exceptional performance on a range of Estes engines, from 1/2 A to C. The narrow, swept fins are precision shaped for maximum stability and minimum air resistance.

This starter set includes the launch pad, the launch controller, 2 A8-3 motors, 4 starters, 4 plugs, and 12 sheets of recovery wadding. Everything you need to experience an incredible launch day. The Athena is a Beginner's quick building rocket kit that requires no previous building experience and no paint. The Extreme is an Intermediate rocket kit that requires moderate assembly which includes gluing and painting.
